How do I prevent usage of my WiFi from being used when my shop/store is closed?
To restrict access to your WiFi outside of your trading hours, do this through your PoweredLocal Dashboard.
- Log in to your PoweredLocal Dashboard
- Navigate to Locations and Devices, click on Settings.
- In the new pop-up window, set your business hours using the slider on each day of the week, setting to the nearest hour
- To remove access for a full day, click the toggle to the left of the day of the week
- Click Update Network
Your wifi name or SSID will still be shown on list of available wifi networks but no internet access will be given to users. You may see Mesh users on the Visits History outside the set business hours. This is because they are already registered to the PoweredLocal network and is designed to auto-connect. So we just reduce the speed of the internet significantly.
